A logistics company building a 15,000 m² multi-temperature cold storage facility in Vietnam required a complete set of evaporator units. The facility serves the seafood export supply chain, with zones ranging from +5°C (chilled) to -25°C (blast freezing).

• Ammonia (R717) refrigerant system — requires compatible materials and safety compliance
• Tropical ambient conditions (35°C+) demanding higher cooling capacity margins

Our Solution

Hicool supplied the complete evaporator package from the WKDL factory, one of China's largest industrial air cooler manufacturers:

• Chilled Zone (+5°C): 16× DL-80 ceiling-mounted air coolers, fin spacing 6mm
• Frozen Zone (-18°C): 20× DD-120 dual-discharge units, fin spacing 8mm, electric defrost
• Blast Freezing (-25°C): 12× DJ-200 heavy-duty units, fin spacing 12mm, hot gas defrost

All units were configured for ammonia service with stainless steel drain pans, aluminum fins, and copper tube construction rated to 2.5 MPa working pressure. We provided complete technical drawings for the contractor's ceiling support structure design.
