Description
Hicool sources marine box coolers for central cooling water systems on vessels, fabricated in aluminium-brass (CuZn20Al2) or titanium tubes within a carbon steel or GRP box structure. Installed through the sea chest, box coolers eliminate the need for a sea water pump and separate heat exchanger. Designed to classification society requirements (DNV GL, BV, CCS) and vessel-specific thermal load. Available in compact single-pass and multi-pass configurations. Supplied with thermal calculation report, material certificates, and class approval documentation. Drop-in replacement design for existing box cooler nozzles available.
