Description
Forged-steel connecting rod assembly for reciprocating air compressors, including big-end and small-end bearing shells (aluminium-tin or tri-metal), con-rod bolts, and lock washers. Manufactured from 42CrMo4 alloy steel, normalised and shot-peened for fatigue resistance. OEM-compatible for Hamworthy, Sauer J series, and Bauer compressor models. All mating surfaces precision-machined to h6/H7 fit tolerances. Supplied as matched assembly with bearing shells pre-sized. Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1) available. Suitable for major overhaul of marine starting air and service air compressors across all classification societies.
