A European ship management company operating 12 chemical tankers needed a cost-effective alternative to OEM spare parts for their fleet's marine air compressors. The fleet was classed with DNV, and all replacement parts needed to meet DNV material and testing requirements.

Hicool worked with two specialist compressor component manufacturers in Zhejiang to produce compatible spare parts kits. Each kit included:

• Valve plates and springs — stainless steel 316L with DNV 3.1 material certs
• Cylinder liner gaskets — graphite-reinforced, tested to 4.0 MPa
• Oil filters and air intake filters — OEM-equivalent specifications
• Complete O-ring and seal kits — Viton (FKM) for chemical tanker service

Each kit was individually boxed with part-by-part inspection reports and material certificates. We coordinated a single consolidated shipment to the owner's warehouse in Rotterdam.
